Super bright lighting at a reasonable price.
Over the years, I have bought many LED motion security lights and most have performed well to my expectations. This light has definitely exceeded my expectations as it is the highest lumen output of any that I have owned and seems so far to perform extremely well. I like the 180° motion sensor head as well as the “night light” when not tripped. The 9500 lumen/5000k light is extraordinarily bright lighting up my entire driveway and the adjustable lights on each side allows a wide angle of lighting. Will probably buy additional ones as other ones around my house are getting old and are not as bright.

Decent build, has some odd quirks.
All features work as expected, good light scatter, easily repositioned.A few quirks make this less-than-perfect, however: The light module is supported by a ball and socket fixture that’s a little weak. A stiff wind blew the lights out of alignment. I corrected for this by applying a bead of “temporary” adhesive to the ball, and using some duct tape to secure the light in the correct orientation overnight.The module can still be repositioned, but with much more force being necessary to do so, as is preferred. The other oddity is the all-plastic housing, being mounted by means of a hole in the center of the light fixture. I have had older fixtures of a similar design fail, and I fear that in 5+ years, if it lasts, it will fail in the same manner. I am considering putting an aluminum bushing in the middle to help alleviate some stress on the housing.Overall, not bad. Installation is weird, won’t work with a wall-box without some tweaks; you will need a bracket with the 1/8″ centered nipple, (not included) or affix it directly to a wooden surface and just run the wires through a hole… Not my preferred way to do it. Gives plenty of light, motion sensor can be finessed – not too many major complaints, just some odd quirks.

This light has more neat features than I realized, and it’s so bright you could light up an airfield … ok, that might be a slight exaggeration, but not by much.Pros-You can adjust this to only come on with motion, or you can use it as a normal porch light in the dusk-to-dawn mode that only unleashes the power of the sun when motion is detected, which is how we’re using it.- You can pivot and angle the lights to prevent blinding yourself when you walk up the stairs to the door at night or blasting in your neighbor’s window. On the flip side, if you actually want to illuminate your neighbor’s window to let them know how you feel, this will do it.-It comes with everything needed for installation and took about 5 minutes to install – could not have been easier.-This also comes with a manual switch and the ability to override the aforementioned selections so it will stay on or off, day or night up to 6 hours.-This is well made and is waterproof, which we need as we live in a rain forest.-It is ridiculously affordable. Had I known that I would have gotten one sooner.-This isn’t your dad’s old 500-pound monstrosity that set the garage on fire from the heat emanating from a 12″ incandescent bulb. It’s small and compact so I’m using it on a back porch. (Banana for scale photo)-Lastly, if you make a superhero stencil signal for each light you will impress every five-year-old within 100 miles.Cons-When you go to take a picture for a review just after sunset you can blind yourself, so be prepared for that.-Your neighbors may take umbrage if it’s aimed at their house and the local raccoons visit every night at 3 a.m..I need more of these!

Bright light
I used this light to replace an old non-LED security light on the side of my house. It was easy to replace the old light with the new one. The light has several modes. I currently have the light set so that it has a dim light until motion activates the bright light. When I tested the light the first night I thought the light may have been set to be always on at night. It was providing good light to the side of the house. However, when I approached the light it turned on to super bright. The light is much brighter than the spotlights I previously used. I am very pleased with this light. It appears to be well made. The light is mostly aluminum, but the center round cover is plastic.
