Product Overview
The Rechargeable Motion Sensor Ceiling Light by VerRon is a smart, battery-powered lighting solution designed for modern homes and spaces where traditional wiring isn’t practical or desired. Ideal for hallways, closets, kitchens, stairways, bathrooms, basements, garages, entryways, and storage rooms, this ceiling light offers hands-free illumination with advanced motion-sensing technology. With its wireless installation, customizable operation modes, and eco-friendly rechargeable design, it delivers convenience, safety, and energy efficiency in one sleek package.
Key Features
- Advanced PIR Motion Sensor: Equipped with a high-sensitivity infrared sensor that detects movement within a 26-foot range and covers up to 120 degrees—ensuring reliable activation whenever you enter the space. The sensor quickly recognizes human movement and automatically illuminates your path, improving visibility and security.
- Three Operation Modes: Choose between Auto Mode 1 (activates during daytime upon detecting motion), Auto Mode 2 (activates only at night when motion is detected), or Manual Mode for full user control over when the light turns on or off. This flexibility allows you to tailor the lighting behavior to your daily routine and environment.
- Fully Dimmable & 3 Color Temperatures: Offers three color temperature settings—3500K warm white (ideal for relaxation), 4500K natural white (perfect for everyday tasks), and 6500K cool white (great for focused activities). The dimmable feature eliminates the need for external dimmer switches, saving you money and simplifying installation.
- Wireless Installation & Flexible Mounting: Designed for easy placement on ceilings or walls without requiring electrical wiring. The flush-mount design blends seamlessly into modern interiors, and mounting is simple using adhesive or screws—ideal for renters or DIY enthusiasts who want instant, wire-free operation.
- Battery-Powered & Eco-Friendly: Runs entirely on a built-in rechargeable battery, reducing reliance on disposable batteries and minimizing environmental impact. Always use the included USB charging cable for optimal performance—third-party cables may not be compatible and could cause charging failure.

Benefits & Use Cases
This motion sensor ceiling light enhances both convenience and security in any home or workspace. It’s especially valuable in areas like bathrooms, basements, garages, stairwells, and walk-in closets where quick visibility is essential upon entry. In Auto Mode 2, the light activates only at night, providing safe passage without manual switching—perfect for late-night trips to the kitchen or hallway. Meanwhile, Auto Mode 1 ensures lights turn on during daylight hours, useful in areas with limited natural light.
The ability to adjust color temperature allows you to create the perfect atmosphere for different activities and times of day. Warm white (3500K) promotes comfort and relaxation, neutral white (4500K) supports clarity and focus, and cool white (6500K) enhances alertness and visibility for detailed tasks. Since the light operates independently of existing wiring, it can be installed almost anywhere without professional help, offering maximum flexibility for renters, homeowners, or commercial spaces looking to upgrade lighting without renovation.
Its compact, flush-mount design ensures a clean, modern look that complements contemporary interiors. Whether used individually or in multiple units across a home, these lights provide consistent, intelligent illumination that adapts to your presence—improving safety, reducing energy waste, and eliminating the need for constant manual controls.

Pretty good lights.
Pretty good lights. I have a fairly dark shower and these lights definitely make it brighter. I saw a video review and the gentlemen said to get the 2 pack and that way you will always have a light fully charged and ready to go. Out of the box, they took over 45 minutes to fully charge up. The motion option is cool, but I just mounted the remote next to my light switch with double sided tape. Super easy install. Comes with a base that mounts to the surface and the light simply spins on and off. Making removing super easy. Only had for a few days and so far so good. Time will tell how they hold up to the moisture.

Great Light Output – Charge does not hold long enough
We bought 3 of these lights and like the amount of light they put out, especially in the closet. The only downside, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that all 3 have to be charged every 2 weeks. Since 2 of them are on the ceiling, that means having to use a ladder. Other than that, we are very pleased with the brightness and really like the motion sensor.

Awesome lighting
These lights are perfect if you need some substitute lighting. I have A large kitchen and on one side it was darker and I hated it. I bought These lights and now itâs great! I bought More to put under my cabinets and in a closet. Iâm super happy with this product!

Battery life sucks
Further update⦠light was charged and only last 4 days of being activated a couple times a day. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, unless you enjoy getting your step stool to take it down every couple of days to charge. Ridiculous.Needed a light to my small pantry and I didnât have the means to add electrical. So I got this battery light. The light brightness is nice and the option for cool, warm, or daylight is fine too but the battery life sucks. I have had it a month and I have had to recharge it once a week so far. I have it set to turn on by motion and it doesnt stay on but a few minutes. Itâs kind of annoying. Wouldnât buy again so look elsewhere so you donât waste your money.

INSTRUCTONS ARE MUDDY AT BEST
The light is highly specified: Three color temperatures (3500K, 4500K, 6500K), variable brightness, rechargeable battery, remote control, variable auto turn-off (15 min., 30 min., etc.). But the instructions…a nightmare. Print is so small, could not read it even with magnifying glass. It appears that a critical step is not even mentioned. At first, I thought the motion sensor and/or the 3-position motion sensor switch was defective. It may or may not be, but at the moment, the fixture is performing as it should; that is, when I approach the lamp in its hall closet location, the light turns on. After not detecting movement in appr. 20 seconds, it turns off. But it wasn’t this way at first and I requested a replacement from Amazon, which arrived today. Yesterday I decided to try to experiment with the buttons on the remote, keeping in mind that I could turn the fixture on and off manually using the remote (which I did not want to do. I bought the unit for its motion sensor.) Today the fixture is working. Did I unknowingly hit the right buttons on the remote? I really don’t know, but it is working today. There are two buttons on the remote, one labeled “Auto Nighttime” and one labeled “Auto Daytime.” I don’t get it — the distinction between the two — but I believe the last button I pressed on the remote before realizing the fixture’s motion sensor and auto shut-off were working was the “Auto Nighttime” button. I don’t see anything in the instructions, even with a magnifying glasss, that addresses the use of those buttons.I should also mention that the appropriate USB cable for recharging from a computer is included, but not a charger itself. That must be purchased separately (about $7 and up from Amazon). That said, I am now pretty happy with it. Because I am not 100% sure how I got it to work, I won’t mess with the remote any more. The unit provides a good amount of light considering it comes from a small (about 7.5″ diameter) very attractively designed unit, and now I have two of them!

Nice size and remote control
Very large and nice but Iâm returning for the white. I think the white will look better in the ceiling.
