Gorgeous, Classy Machine That Works Beautifully
This espresso machine has far exceeded our expectations. We got the sapphire blue, which has an elegant stainless steel body. I initially chose Casabrews for two main reasons: customer service and build quality, but I discovered after trying out the machine that it also makes delicious espresso. This is an affordable machine with high-quality and safe materials, such as the stainless steel boiler and BPA-free plastic. I’ve owned three similarly-priced machines from notable brands before, and Casabrews stands out with quality and performance. This machine is more automatic than I expected and has preprogrammed espresso shots. The clear manual explains how to get the best shots, steam, and heat with each step in making your morning coffee. Every espresso we have tried has been delicious, including lattes made using the steam wand.I am familiar with using a bottomless portafilter, and I purchased one from Casabrews, which has a beautiful wood handle. Surprisingly, I was able to get a great shot with it from the get-go. I found that grinding a little finer, tamping a little more firmly, and using high-quality, fresh beans create the best shot with a bottomless portafilter. I’ve included two links to the wood bottomless portafilter and a wood tamper if you want to add extra flair to your machine.Casabrews Bottomless Portafilter with Wood Handle:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CZKYTDKB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleStainless Steel Tamper with Wood Handle:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J7TQ36B?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_titleThe portafilter that comes with the machine is very sturdy and works well if you’d rather use it. It also makes excellent espresso. If you’re purchasing a Casabrews espresso machine from Amazon, I suggest you follow two steps: first, register your espresso machine with Casabrews on their website, and you’ll get an 18-month warranty instead of 12. Second, I recommend purchasing an Assurion Kitchen Protection Plan ( you can choose for up to 4 years) on Amazon as additional insurance for the machine.Thank you, Casabrews, for creating such a high-quality and beautiful home espresso machine.

Best investment for an espresso lover!
My husband and I are in love with this machine. We love espresso, so we really wanted one that was small enough and affordable for our family. Itâs stunning. Itâs built well, is aesthetically pleasing, and makes a strong and great espresso/ amazing cappuccino. Itâs easy to use & lightweight. Make your coffee in literally seconds. I love that I can also use the milk frother for hot water when I want tea. Everything is working perfectly and I have absolutely no complaints. Very happy! 10/10 recommend.

Great value
fantastic machine for making great lattes, cappuccinos, and espresso.Pros:- 20 Bar pump pressure for rich, flavorful espresso- Powerful milk frother for creamy, velvety foam- Compact design fits well in smaller kitchens- Affordable price for the features and performance- Easy to use and cleanCons:- Espresso isnât hot enough for my taste (requires pre-heating the mug can help little)- Takes time to reheat after using the steam wand, making it less convenient if you’re in a rush

Great starter for making espresso drinks!
My husband got me this espresso machine for Christmas, and I love it! Iâve made coffee with it almost every day since then.It fits very neatly in my kitchen (I live in an apartment, so limited counter space). The instructions were very clear on how to get it started and how to make espresso. The tamper tool is kinda flimsy, but it gets the job done. Iâm no pro barista or anything, so it doesnât bother me. If it would bother you, Iâm sure Casabrews makes sturdier ones you could buy somewhere.I felt misled by a lot of the reviews before picking this machine, so I kinda want to address what I thought would go wrong with my machine and what actually happened.First, I read some reviews saying it rattles too loudly. My machine does rattle some, but I notice it rattles more if thereâs not a lot of water in the tank. The instructions manual says some rattling is normal and will diminish with use. Iâve only used mine for about a month, so not sure about that yet. But keeping the water tank full seems to help. Sometimes I gotta hold my cup in place while itâs brewing if it rattles lol.I also read that some people got used machines with water in them?? The instructions manual says manual has a note saying to contact them if your machine is used or broken. And it also says the machines are tested with pure water before being shipped, so itâs possible there is still some water residue. Mine was completely dry and in perfectly new, working condition.I read that some people think the machine is too light to lock the portafilter into place. Yes, that does happen sometimes. I have to grip my machine with one hand and lock the portafilter in with the other to keep the machine from sliding across the counter. Kinda annoying, but nothing huge.My biggest struggle was with the steaming wand. I could not figure out how to get foamy milk, and the steam wand screeched so loudly it hurt my ears! Turned out it was a skill issue. My barista friend told me how to steam milk properly, and itâs so much quieter now. Just a user error lol.Overall, the machine does have a couple flaws, but I find them easy to overlook. It works great, it looks adorable, and itâs so easy to use! Iâm super happy with my espresso machine and would totally recommend it!

Awesome Expresso Machine!
This machine is easy to use and makes delicious expresso! I set it up and my first cappuccino was amazing!! Milk steamer/frother works great. I have had it for about a 7 months now, and it consistently delivers delicious coffees. I always pre warm the portafilter and the cup so the cappuccino or mocha is hot. It is slim and low profile, so does not take up much counter space. I looked at all kinds of machines and was stunned and happy to find this wonderful little expresso machine at this price point that delivers high quality coffees. Highly recommended!

I bought this machine while looking for a small espresso machine during black Friday. I liked it so much I bought one for my daughter for Christmas.I like to test drive these machines before I review, but so far I have to say it’s very sturdy, good looking and makes a consistently good creamy espresso. The frother/steamer is very sturdy and helps make a good cappuccino.Depending on your beans you can easily do equal or better than your neighbourhood Starbucks.

I was reluctant to go with a no-name espresso machine, but the price and small footprint of this machine was too attractive to pass up. Turns out it’s a competent little machine that is great for a single Americano or small latte, and suits a small kitchen where counterspace is not large. The main thing I would counsel based on about a month of use, is grind your beans very meticulously, tamp the coffee well, pay attention to the pressure guage and shoot for just above mid-range for maximum flavour without scorching the grounds. The pressure guage is great as a guide to whether your coffee is the right grind and compacted properly. Also, warm up the vessels you’re using beforehand to keep things warm enough. The instruction guide with this machine is quite explicit about warming your implements and I found it very helpful. The hot water setting on the machine is decent for Americano making, and it’s nice that I don’t have to boil a kettle separately for hot water like I did with my previous mid-range Breville I bought as a refurbished machine, and that finally packed it in after about 15 years of use.Like all compact machines, this is best for one or two people max. If you entertain and want to serve lattes to everyone, this is not the machine for you. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and we’ll see how many years it keeps going…

First time making espresso and this is the machine I chose for its compactness as counterspace was limited, so I have nothing to judge it against. However, I haven’t had a single issue with this machine and feel it’s very beginner friendly. The size is a great feature as I find a lot of espresso machines take up a huge amount of counter space. The pressure gauge is extremely helpful too, as it is able to show you how much pressure you’re putting into each brew so you can see if you’ve put in enough (or too much / too little) espresso in. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a simple / beginner espresso machine, or even just someone looking for a manual machine that doesn’t need all the bells and whistles the more expensive machines come with.

Iâm genuinely impressed by this espresso machine! Itâs compact, sleek, and doesnât take up much space, which is perfect for my small kitchen. The pressure gauge is a great addition, allowing me to get a better feel for each shot. Once I figured out the nuances of the controls, itâs become a reliable daily companion that brews rich, flavorful espresso with a lovely crema on top.The milk frother works well too, especially for creating creamy lattes and cappuccinos. I like that the frother can also release hot water, which is great for warming up my cup. Thereâs a bit of a learning curve, particularly with temperature control after frothing, but the instructions were helpful in managing this. Overall, this machine feels well worth it for anyone willing to invest a bit of time to get it dialed in. The quality and value are impressive, and Iâm happy I made this choice!
