Good price, well packaged, instructions good, Installation fairly easy. Install took some time, but not real hard if you are handy. Read reviews on other track sets that said you have to remove the door to adjust them, this one can be adjusted with the door in place, helps a lot.

Adding a 2nd sliding door to my barn and this track and accessories is the same or nearly so to the items I bought locally at the big box store. I will be adding this to an existing track to make the door wider. I gambled it would be the same size and it is.

I think this barn door track kit is a pretty good value overall. Quality, size, functionality, and good looks make it a winner. It is surprising how smoothly such large doors glide along the track.Installing it isn’t a difficult DIY project, but some shed prep work may be required beforehand. The support brackets are attached with 2″ lag bolts so they need to bite into something substantial to hold the weight of the barn doors – studs may not line up so blocking will likely be needed to make it happen.The instructions have a couple of quirky notations about “single number installation” and “even numbers track” that are real head-scratchers at first, but it soon becomes obvious that they refer to single or double barn door installation options.One important take-away is this: no matter what the track section length is, 40, 42, or 48 inches, support brackets are required at all of the points shown in the installation diagram on page 3 – basically where they butt-up to each other, in their middles, and at the terminating ends of the track run… This provides balanced weight support for the doors and it makes for a really clean and neat look overall.

Good Barn door hardware kit with one flaw.
I just finished installing this kit. The rails are good quality, the rollers are nice quality as well. The kit looks very nice with a thick black coating over all of the parts.This kit is not for beginners. I have many years of DIY home improvement experience and i had to look over the instructions many times to figure out what to do.The only drawback I can see so far is the floor guides for the bottom of the door has large nuts under the mount so it can’t be mounted flush with the floor. The bottom guide sits up about 1/2 inch off the floor.I already had a set of bottom guides that sit flush on the floor so i didn’t use the guides that came with the kit.
