Sturdy and functional
Enjoying this lamp for my office/art area. I appreciate that I can turn on different numbers of bulbs to adjust the light (bought daylight bulbs, which work great), and that it is heavy enough that it feels very stable. Great addition to my work space!

It is shorter than advertised but works well for me.
I got this to light an area where I needed bright light on one side and background light on the other side, and it works well. I really like that you can use it with just two of the lights working or with all of them, and of course that you can adjust the individual fixtures to your needs. Very easy to put together and sturdy once you get it together, and it looks good. For those people for whom it is too short, I have a lamp that needs to be higher. I found that putting the lamp on a plastic one step step ladder does the trick. The step ladder is sturdy enough to hold the lamp and will fit most lamp bases, and the weight of the lamp keeps it in place.

1. I’ve had other lamps like this over the years. The pole is bigger than the last ones and has more threading on the separate pieces. Thinner pole and fewer threads was the failure point on my last ones, so this was nice to see.2. Easy to put together.3. Heavy. These do not wobble or tip.4. Throws lots of light.I have a renovated attic space and I wanted more light than the ceiling fixtures supplied. These were perfect and well made.

Disappointed
I really wanted to keep this lamp; IT WAS MUCH SHORTER than it seems from the amazon photo and description but I liked the design and he looked sleek. No tools needed to put it together. But see the photo and short video. It looked like whoever screwed the top base together couldn’t line it up and maneuvered it which left it bent. Not when I spend my money will I accept subpar products.
