- Tri-Ply Construction: The layered design combines an aluminum core between two layers of stainless steel, ensuring rapid and uniform heat distribution without hot spots. This allows for precise temperature control and consistent cooking results every time.
- Durable Stainless Steel Exterior: Made from high-grade stainless steel, the exterior resists scratches, stains, and corrosion, maintaining its polished appearance through regular use and cleaning. It also offers excellent compatibility with all stovetop types, including induction.
- Included Tempered Glass Lid: A clear, tight-fitting lid allows you to monitor food as it cooks without releasing steam or heat, helping retain moisture and flavor. The glass design enables visual tracking while preventing splatters.
- Ergonomic Handle Design: The stay-cool handle is securely bonded to the pan body, providing a comfortable, balanced grip even during extended cooking sessions. It remains cool to the touch on the stovetop, reducing the risk of burns.

Benefits & Use Cases
This 8-inch frying pan excels in everyday cooking scenarios where precision and control are essential. Its compact size makes it ideal for single servings or smaller meals, such as cooking eggs for one person or preparing sauces and reductions with minimal evaporation. The tri-ply construction ensures that even low-heat applications—like simmering or gentle sautéing—are handled flawlessly, while high-heat searing benefits from the pan’s ability to maintain steady temperatures.
The inclusion of a tempered glass lid adds significant value by enabling hands-off monitoring during braising or steaming vegetables. You can keep an eye on your food without constantly lifting the lid, preserving heat and moisture. This is especially useful when making dishes that require slow reduction or when cooking delicate items that could break apart if disturbed frequently.
With full induction compatibility, this pan integrates seamlessly into modern kitchens equipped with induction cooktops. The flat base ensures optimal contact with the surface, maximizing energy efficiency and responsiveness. Additionally, its oven-safe capability allows for multi-step recipes—such as browning meat on the stove before finishing it in the oven—without needing to transfer contents to another dish.
Important Notes
While the pan is dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to maintain the stainless steel’s luster and extend the lifespan of the finish over time. Avoid using metal utensils that may scratch the surface; instead, opt for silicone, wood, or nylon tools to preserve the non-reactive cooking surface.
The product has been rigorously tested in actual home kitchens before being made available to customers, reflecting the founder’s personal standards for quality and usability. As a Texas-based woman-owned small business, AVACRAFT emphasizes transparency, durability, and customer satisfaction in every product they offer.
The package includes one 8-inch tri-ply stainless steel frying pan with lid. No additional accessories or inserts are included unless specified in separate packaging details.

Excellent frying pan, it sold me on this vendor.
This review is for the 10″ full body tri-ply pan and lid.First off, this is a stainless steel frying pan. It acts like other stainless steel frying pans. If you don’t know what temperatures to use it at with your oil of choice and run it too hot, the oil will undergo polymerization and will become a brownish layer. As with most such things when dealing with stainless steel or cast iron, it may be fixed fairly painlessly. Oven cleaner and barkeepers friend will safely guide you back to like new appearance. As with cast iron, some chefs will purposely build up this polymerized layer of oil since it acts as seasoning much as with cast iron cookware. This is unlike nonstick coatings which will degrade and begin flaking over time. My 85 year old mother managed to wear out a stainless steel frying pan with 60 years of use but most likely you won’t. This contrasts with non-stick cookware which needs to be periodically replaced.First impressions. The pan arrived apparently missing the use and care pamphlet. Or I missed it in the packaging. What emerged from the packaging was a gorgeous pan. It has a lovely mirror polish exterior and a somewhat matte interior. Heft in my hand was fantastic. Solid, and plainly durable though lighter than might be expected due to the aluminum. The lid fit nicely, tight enough to do its job.So, how does this work? My previous experience with stainless was with solid stainless steel. Heating times were longer than with lighter pans which is to be expected. Even while heated, the glass lid seemed to function well to keep the heat contained. The surface of the glass maintained a lower temperature than the pan. The handle remained cool even with half hour cook times. My first experiment was, of course, an omlette, exactly what shouldn’t be done. I made sure to melt some cheese on to the pans surface along with sticking some eggs on. The pan cleaned well for a stainless, a few minutes soak in some water and a scrub with Scotch-Brite scrubbing sponge and it was good as new. I next made a cheesesteak in the pan with lots of molten American cheese. Once again, a little soaking plus a scrub sponge and it was good as new. I’ve been using it at every opportunity now for 2 weeks trying to vary the use from in oven fritattas to searing meats. The surface is getting somewhat cloudy now but nothing that wouldn’t disappear immediately with some barkeepers friend. My purpose in ordering this pan was to evaluate it. I currently have anodized non-stick pans which are not compatible with the induction cook top that I plan on upgrading to. I wanted to see if this line was suitable to be the replacement for my current pans. What attracted me to this lineup was the solid reviews and the inclusion of lids for the 8 and 10 inch frying pans. Frying pans are the work horses for me and lids are important. After evaluating this pan, I am sold and will be making further purchases.

Excellent and affordable stainless steel cookware
I purchased the stainless steel (SS) frying pan and the 1.5 quart SS saucepan . This is my first SS cookware. I have been hearing for a long, long time the possible health effects of cooking using Teflon, ceramic, and non-stick âstoneâ cookware so I decided to give SS a chance. I then tossed away my old cookware.I like the new pan and the saucepan. They look elegant. I like the external mirror finish. I think the spouts on the rim are a great idea because you eliminate the mess when pouring stuff out of them. They heat up faster than I am used to, so I am being careful not letting anything to burn. The food making direct contact with the panâs surface while cooking tends to stick. The very first time I tried to fry an egg without oil to see how it behaved. When I scooped it, a good amount was left on the pan. However, I filled the pan with water, let it sit for a while, and then scrubbed the egg away with a soft sponge/scrubber with soap. It can be easily cleaned. The next time I fried another egg I used Pam and it did the trick. I have read that SS cookware can be âcuredâ to make it non-stick, but I will check on that later.Lids are elegant and practical. The glass allows you to see inside the pan and the insulated handle never gets hot. I like the saucepanâs lid because it has a strainer. That was clever. I could also toss away my plastic strainer.By the way, the panâs and saucepanâs all-metal handle does not get hot at all. Also, although the SS may be resistant to scratches, I bought a set of silicone utensils to avoid scratching the surfaces. All in all, I think that this is an excellent and affordable choice. I would dare to say that food tastes even better. For the price, you are getting a great product. Of course, I still need to see how they perform in the long run.

A nice pan
This is a nice, quality pan for the most part. Looks good, is weighty, feels good in your hand and cooks well. I’ve used it twice now. Cooked four over easy eggs, and tonight made two pork chops. I let the pan warm up, added my EVOO and let it come to temperature before adding food to the pan. The food cooks nicely and does not stick. It’s easy to control the pan temperature because it has the heavy 3 ply bottom. The lid fits well. I see only one flaw that I assume is a manufacturing flaw (not a design flaw) that could possibly be remedied. The bottom of the inside of the pan has a slightly raised center. I was a little disappointed when I noticed that upon putting my eggs in the pan but honestly it didn’t effect the outcome as much as I thought it might and of course was not a factor when cooking the chops. I would definitely recommend you give this pan a try. I think it’s a really nice, quality pan for the price. I wanted a second pan this size ,with a lid, that did not have a non-stick coating. They are not easy to find, especially one of any quality.

Como no es antiadherente lo utilizo sólo para guisos que necesitan algo de grasa, como bistecs, frijoles, etc. (No huevos).

Pan is a good size for a one or two person household. Great for scrambled eggs, omelets, bacon, hamburgers, chops. Glass lid fits well and the side pouring spouts are a nice feature. As long as you pay attention to your heat management – the food does not stick and the pan cleans up well after using. As well, I always season the pan before I use it. So far, very happy with it. The pan has a good weight to it and is well made.
