$149.99
Product Overview
The YAVIL King Bed Canopy Tent is a thoughtfully designed portable privacy solution that transforms any standard king mattress into an immediate sanctuary. Engineered for both adults and children, this canopy tent creates a personal retreat in shared spaces like dorm rooms, guest bedrooms, or family homes where private sleep isn’t always possible. With its patented pole insertion system and reinforced fiber construction, the tent offers exceptional stability and durability compared to conventional bed tents on the market.
One of its standout features is the ability to reduce ambient light by up to 70%, making it ideal for daytime naps, shift workers, or anyone sensitive to light. The design balances visibility and privacy—you can see out, but others cannot see in—giving users control over their environment without complete isolation. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to unwind after work, a distraction-free zone for studying, or a more comfortable sleeping space during travel, this canopy tent delivers practical comfort with minimal setup.
What sets this product apart is not just its functionality but also its thoughtful engineering: three separate entrances provide flexible access while maintaining full enclosure, mesh windows allow airflow without inviting bugs, and a compact carrying bag ensures easy storage and portability. From students living in crowded dorms to couples sharing a bedroom or frequent travelers seeking consistent rest conditions, this canopy tent adapts seamlessly to diverse lifestyles.
Key Features
- Patent-Protected Pole Design: Unlike traditional bed tents that rely on loose poles or fragile connectors, the YAVIL tent uses uniquely inserted fiber poles that lock securely into place, offering superior strength and resistance to bending or warping over time.
- Reinforced 9.5mm Fiber Poles: The structure includes six high-quality fiber poles—two short and four long—each constructed from durable 9.5mm material paired with plastic elbow joints. This combination maintains shape integrity and supports the full canopy even when fully extended.
- Three Entrance Doors with Mesh Windows: Each door features an adjustable mesh window that opens or closes depending on ventilation needs. When warm, open the mesh for fresh air; when cool, close the curtains to retain heat and increase insulation.
- Up to 70% Light Reduction: The fabric panels are engineered to block external light significantly, creating a darker sleeping environment without eliminating all visibility. Users can adjust panel positions to fine-tune light levels according to preference.
- Quick Setup & Compact Storage: Installation takes only minutes thanks to clear step-by-step instructions and color-coded poles. Once folded, the entire unit fits neatly into the included storage bag—perfect for closet storage or suitcase packing.
- Universal King Bed Compatibility: Designed to fit most standard king-sized mattresses (dimensions: 80 x 78 inches), though no mattress or flooring is included. Simply place it over your existing bed frame or platform.
- Multipurpose Functionality: Use it for nighttime sleep, daytime relaxation, focused work sessions, reading, or even as a cozy play area for kids—making it versatile for home, office, or travel environments.

Benefits & Use Cases
This canopy tent addresses common challenges in shared living situations by giving individuals back their sense of personal space. For college students, it means undisturbed study hours or peaceful naps between classes. For parents sharing a room with young children, it offers a safe, enclosed area for independent sleep without removing the child from the room entirely. Couples who value quiet intimacy without sacrificing proximity will appreciate how the tent allows one partner to sleep deeply while the other rests nearby.
Travelers benefit greatly too—whether staying in hotels with thin walls, using rental accommodations, or camping in RV setups, this lightweight yet sturdy canopy ensures familiar comfort anywhere. Its portability means you can pack it in your luggage and deploy it instantly upon arrival. Additionally, individuals recovering at home often find reduced light exposure aids faster recovery, and this tent provides that benefit without requiring permanent modifications.
Beyond sleep, the enclosed space serves as a mini-office for remote workers needing concentration, a calming corner for meditation or reading, or even a secure spot for small electronics and valuables. The mesh windows prevent overheating during summer months by allowing cross-breezes, while closed curtains create warmth in colder climates. Because there’s no floor attachment required, it works on any flat surface—platform beds, box springs, memory foam mattresses—as long as they meet the size requirements.
Important Notes
The YAVIL King Bed Canopy Tent does not include a mattress, bedding, or flooring. Users must have an existing king-size mattress (approximately 80” x 78”) to use the product effectively. Proper assembly requires following the provided instructions carefully, particularly ensuring all poles click securely into the designated grommets or sleeves. Avoid placing the tent over wet, dirty, or uneven surfaces—clean, dry mattresses yield best results.
While built to last, care should be taken when folding to prevent damage to the fiber poles. Never force collapsed parts together; instead, gently guide them back into place. The included storage bag protects components during transit and saves valuable closet space. Should any questions arise during assembly or usage, customer service support is available to assist.
Note also that although the tent blocks light well, it does not make the space soundproof. Loud noises from outside the room will still be audible, so it’s best suited for quiet environments rather than noisy households.

Full Bed Canopy and Tent for Kids
If you’re looking to turn your bed into a cozy, private havenâor create a fun “tent-like” adventure space for the kidsâthis YAVIL Bed Tent is a fantastic choice. My kids absolutely love the little hideaway it creates, and it’s the perfect solution for blocking light and reducing noise in shared bedrooms. While setting it up might require a little patience (and maybe a helper), itâs worth the effort for the privacy, comfort, and sheer fun this tent brings to the room.Pros:⢠Blocks Light Like a Dream: It blocks around 75% of light, which makes it perfect for those who love a dark, cozy space to sleepâideal for light sleepers or daytime nappers.⢠Ultimate Privacy: This bed tent creates a private mini-fort, perfect for when you need some alone time or a little peace and quiet in a shared space. Itâs especially great for kids or dorm rooms.Sturdy Construction: With durable 9.5mm fiber poles, this isnât your typical flimsy pop-up tentâitâs built to last and stays standing strong.⢠Versatile Fun: During the day, it’s a fun hideaway or reading nook; at night, itâs your own sleep sanctuary. Kids love the “tent adventure” vibe!⢠Breathable and Comfy: The mesh and shading panels are perfect for keeping the airflow going without sacrificing darkness. Plus, the 3 doors with double-layer zippers make it super easy to get in and out.⢠Easy(ish) Setup: Comes with clear instructions, so getting it up isnât too tough, though it helps to have an extra pair of hands.Cons:⢠Assembly Can Be Tricky: Itâs generally easy to set up, but the poles and fabric may take a little extra effort ⢠to fit just rightâespecially on larger beds.⢠Size Quirks: Depending on your mattress, the fit might feel a bit snug or off. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind.⢠Off-Gassing Smell: Thereâs a slight chemical smell when you first set it up, but it fades after a couple of days.Final thoughts: Overall I would recommend this product!

Cozy, Warm, NOT Great for Sex
Pros:- Sturdy.- Good fit with bed (king size Zinus mattress and frame).- Extremely cozy.- Convenient placement of inside pockets and hooks.- Separate zippers and toggles for inner mesh and outer tent flaps.Cons:- Not very good for sex (in any position other than missionary, one person’s head will be against the ceiling of the tent. For side-of-the-bed positions, the person outside the tent will have their view obstructed).- Retains heat, even with only the mesh flaps closed.- More difficult to take down than to put up.- Makes a single man’s bedroom look like Some Weirdo’s Lair.

Loves it
This was a little challenging to set up by myself but once up, the kiddos love itthe older one is on bottom bunk and he’d wall it off with blankets to make a fort and the little one on top bunk wanted to be able to do that too This is perfectnow i have to try to find one to fit in the bottom bunk because the older one is jealous of the screens 🙂

Perfect for my needs
I have bought so much stuff to improve my quality of sleep since I have sensory needs, from grounding sheets to sleeping masks and very few have worked as good as this privacy tent does. Has side zippers everywhere so i can watch tv or feel the fan from the ceiling, also I’ve noticed that I’m falling asleep faster and for longer times. Was relatively easy to put it up, no special tools need it, all hardware is included. The darkening inside even on daylight is super good and the side pockets are very handy.I do not know how long it will last but so far so good, on my perspective for a month of continued use. I wasn’t sure of the fitting at first so I ordered the biggest and it fit perfectly to my Cal King mattress. Overall I think it’s a good investment for the results I’m getting.Added pics for better understanding. Not pitch dark on the roof side without option to it.

Great Tent!!
Very good for privacy. It keeps the light out very well, has good ventilation and minimizes the cold if your room is very cold. Happy with my purchase and recommend it.

This was promising
This was promising. The poles are sturdy and strung together so you can easily put it together. The fabric is nice and not your typical tent fabric. But I never got to check what it was like to sleep in it. Because I got a twin instead of a king. We triple checked the listing made sure it was a king. Checked our bed to make sure what we were getting fit the measurments of 78″ x 80″. But when we tried to put it on the bed we realized. It didnt fit. It ended up measuring 78″ x 54″

Cool concept but execution is a little flawed
I like the idea of a tent around the bed so I was excited to get this. Despite saying it was for a queen, it ran larger than that and the piping used to hold it up would not stay in place and was too wobbly. Definitely need more than one person to help with putting it up and the poles need to be more adjustable for slightly smaller sizes

Didnt have to be so much for what you get but it is satisfying to sit in no matter where you have it
