Benefits & Use Cases
This appliance shines when it comes to simplifying everyday cooking challenges. For families juggling school pickups, work deadlines, and dinner prep, the Chefman EasyAir eliminates guesswork and saves precious time. It’s especially powerful for anyone who relies on frozen convenience foods—think store-bought fries, nuggets, or pre-marinated meats—delivering that coveted crunch without hours in the oven or gallons of oil. Beyond fast-food-style snacks, it excels at roasting sweet potatoes, baking artisan breads, reheating pizza slices to perfect texture, and even drying herbs or fruit chips.
Its large capacity means you can cook an entire roast chicken alongside sides like roasted carrots and potatoes—all at once—without crowding or compromising heat circulation. The dual-function design also makes it a smart choice for meal preppers: bake a double batch of muffins one day, then use the same oven to crisp up leftovers the next. Because it operates quietly and heats rapidly, it fits seamlessly into morning routines or late-night snacking sessions without disruption.
Whether you’re scaling back on fried foods for dietary reasons or just aiming to cut down on kitchen clutter, this unit offers a practical, high-performance solution. Its balance of size, power, and ease of use positions it as a reliable centerpiece for modern, fast-paced households.

Works great, but small
While this unit doesn’t suffer a small footprint on the countertop, it does feel a lot smaller on the inside than I think it should. This might be due to the unusual design. I’ve had a number of toaster ovens over the years and recently got into Air fryer toaster ovens, and while I do agree with the hype that these are an absolute game-changer in the kitchen, each one has its quirks that you need to learn to work with. This oven doesn’t have a baking tray. At least, not a standard one – it has a drip/crumb tray that’s meant to go on the bottom, under the lower heating elements. That can be moved up to do double duty as a baking tray. There are a few levels you can place racks/trays on, which can help with the overall lack of space. But in a lot of cases, I found myself needing to bring the drip tray up above the lower coils because I don’t want anything falling directly onto the unprotected glowing red-hot coils! It doesn’t leave as much space to work with, ultimately.I find that cleanup can be a bit of a pain at times, as the area around the bottom at the door hinges is a really common spot for food crumbs to drop into, and it’s not easy to get into and clean around. I never had this problem with my Cuisinart, but here it gets messy every time it’s used. I think the cost-saving measure of pulling double-duty with the drip tray/baking tray could be part of the issue, but it’s maybe just the design of the door that’s at fault there. On the overall function – it’s really easy to learn how to use this air fryer and quite painless to operate its controls. I was afraid all the touch functionality would be annoying, but it’s quite self-explanatory and UX is great. The door, I think, is a bit of a weak spot for me, because it takes a fair bit of force to pry open and tends to be just on the edge of sliding the whole appliance around to get it opened or closed. While the dual frying racks can be loaded together, I feel like this particular air fryer is not as quick to cook as my previous one, and it’s less convenient to make more than a single person’s batch of food at a time. It just seems less powerful, or has less heating capacity, so it takes longer. And those racks aren’t very easy to clean. No doubt, I think this is a fine air fryer. Annoying in some ways, but it gets the job done well enough.

Worth it.
Perfect size, small but not too small. We were sick of the bucket type as cleaning out was difficult. I highly recommend.

Definitely worth having
This is our first air fryer of any kind, so 1) donât have anything to compare it to 2) have had a bit of a learning curve on how to use it. That said, we have been using it a lot and have found it quite adept at things such as french fries, brussel sprouts, homemade pizzas (using ciabatta buns as crust) and in general all frozen foods. Like the preset functions, though you have to experiment to get the correct temp and time depending on the foods. In general, found that air frying function needs higher temperature/longer time than what was preset to get foods crisp. As with most fryers, canât cook big quantities of food in the unit. One other note is that the design of the air fryer racks (wire mesh grid pattern) traps crumbs easily which makes it hard to clean.Note that if you want this to replace a toaster, you need to have some patience. It does a good job of it, but takes longer to get where you want to get.Another note, this has trays instead of a basket. Some might prefer to have a basket because then ou can just shake it mid-way through the cook, whereas with the trays you need to flip each item on the tray individually.

Works great!
This is my first air fryer so it’s been a bit of a learning curve but after a day or two of adjusting to different times and temps, it’s been excellent! Of course it has the other cook functions, too, which I have tested a bit but the air frying function was the main reason I wanted it.The unit itself, in black, looks great on the countertop. Very sleek and modern looking. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the touchscreen is a fingerprint magnet. It’s not something that I would remove a star over but it does bother me.The five cooking functions- Air fry, bake, broil, toast and bagel. I have tested each but broil as of now. Everything works as expected, though, so I suspect broil is no different. The air frying was my main reasoning for ordering so that is what I have used the most by far. The fan is not super loud but it’s not super quiet. I have it sitting on the countertop within feet of my living room, and I can hear it while watching TV in the living room (roughly 10ft away) but it’s not so loud that it drowns out the TV. I just stop noticing the fan noise after a couple minutes. It’s very easy to use. You select which cooking function you’d like, and then time and temp. Everything is very intuitive. You’ll get an alert at the half way point, a fairly quiet beeping, and once you hit the 2 minute mark, a +2 minute button appears. You get the flat wire rack, baking/drip pan and two air frying baskets. Another nitpick is that the basket is hardly a basket, it’s very shallow, and because of the design of this oven, you do not get any sort of handle. Again, not something that warrants removal of stars but worth mentioning. The biggest con that I have is the design/shape of the oven makes for not so easy cleanup. It’s not a deal breaker, and you’ll figure out the best methods for cleaning up any dropped bits, but the first time I tried to air fry breaded chicken, I was immediately aware that it was going to be a bit of a pain to clean up any crumbs.
