Complicated build but excellent quality desk
The building process is a bit challenging, but the end product is well worth it! Iâve been using the desk for about two months now and have no regrets about buying this.

So far, so good! I’m excited to use it.
Major upgrade from what I was using prior to this purchase! I’m hopeful this will help with my posture as well as relieve any tendonitis pain I often felt working at my other “desk”.First off, I love the shelf – it allows for so much more space and less clutter on the desk. The shelf seems a little wobbly though with my iMac, MacBook and stand on it. I only notice this if I’m adjusting the iMac itself, not from moving the desk up and down. While it probably wouldn’t do well in an earthquake, it’s just fine for now and that works for me.The laptop/tablet stand that came built into the desk is a weird feature and not sure we built this properly, as putting my MacBook on it makes it fall straight down – I can’t hold this thing in place with weight on it. This wasn’t a feature I purchased the desk for so if I can’t figure it out, then it is what it is.I did however decide on this desk because it also included a drawer. While the drawer is nearly as long as the desk itself, it isn’t even wide enough to hold a piece of paper laying flat, which, being a work desk, seems odd to me. Again, not a deal breaker. The drawer is definitely quite flimsy too, so I won’t hold much in there other than a couple of pens and maybe my glasses.Putting this together was for sure a two person job and the instructions were challenging. It took a couple of hours to put it together – everything down to even the drawer needs to be put together.Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase. Looking forward to using this and can’t wait to try using my walking pad under it too.

FANTASTIC Desk and Customer Follow Up
I put this desk together by myself and it was easy, although took time and focus to do each step correctly. I messed up with the cross bar and had the hole for the bracket on the wrong side and had to remove and reinstall. Without the bracket, the desk was wobbly but the bracket being secured fixed that.As I couldn’t see the hole on the crossbar, I emailed COMHOMA and they got back immediately with a solution, which worked. Great customer service and follow up.Love the desk and using the sit down/stand up feature everyday. Motor is quiet and movement smooth. I hit the preset button and walk away to come back to my desk in a new position. The top shelf for my monitor provides additional desk space. Drawer add more space too.

I greatly dislike leaving negative reviews. But here we are. Granted part of this is MY fault, as I ordered this desk December 5 so that I could stretch out buying the pieces of furniture (including a bed and mattress) I had to replace for my move on Feb 11. I did it too early, and it was the only thing that I had a problem–and it was past the point for returning it.That said, the desk itself is quite nice. I love the shelves. It fits into the small corner of my living room I needed a desk (my old one was falling apart and was way too big for the new place). I had no issues assembling the desk until I was building the part the desktop itself attached to. The side that the support beams attach to, all the holes were in the wrong place. It was probably backward, but you couldn’t flip it around because the hole on the very end is only on one end and the other is open with a flimsy plastic cap to cover the opening. So you couldn’t just drill a hole on that side and call it done.So, I moved in Feb 11, attempted to build the desk Feb 12, contacted Amazon who forwarded it to the maker of the desk on Feb 13. Customer service was very patient and understanding. Told me they would send a replacement of the incorrect part. I said thank you. It was fine. I would be inconvenienced a little while but it was fine.After a few weeks I reached out again to check and it was not sent yet. I was told that they had a high demand of products and they would send it when they could. Which, to me, implied the new sales were more important than people who already bought their items and I’d be lucky if I ever saw the part.After a full month of not having a desk, having to hunch over on a TV dinner stand to type and use a mouse that was nearly parallel to my shoulder to edit a book and do cover art for clients. Having to spread my tax prep all over the floor, I reached out again. As of March 12 I was informed they still haven’t sent the part.I talked to some friends and someone was able to come drill new holes in the desktop to attach it. It does not have the support beams attached and it probably won’t survive moving to a new place, but it can be used finally.I don’t think I will ever see that part. So, buyer beware: don’t order from this company unless you know you will be building it in the return period.
