The DESLOC A100F is ideal for homeowners who want to upgrade their front door security with minimal effort and maximum convenience. Its fingerprint and PIN access eliminate the need to carry keys, while the included backup keys ensure accessibility during technical issues. The lock’s rugged build and IP54 rating make it suitable for entry doors exposed to rain, snow, or humidity, whether installed in urban apartments, suburban homes, or remote properties. Installation is straightforward and requires no professional tools beyond a screwdriver, thanks to its standardized deadbolt design and adhesive-backed interior plate. This makes it a practical choice for renters or those avoiding permanent modifications. The inclusion of a Type-C emergency port guarantees usability even when batteries are fully depleted, addressing common concerns about smart locks becoming permanently locked out.

Users appreciate its balance of modern technology and practical resilience, particularly in regions experiencing temperature extremes or moisture challenges.

Important Notes
n
Customers should note that actual battery life may vary depending on how frequently the lock is used and the number of unlock cycles per day. While the lock performs well across a wide temperature range, performance near the extremes (-22°F or 158°F) may temporarily affect response speed.
n
The package includes the A100F lock unit, five physical keys, four AA batteries, installation hardware, and adhesive strips for interior mounting. No additional components or specialist tools are required for setup.
n
For support, customers can reach DESLOC via phone during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm EST) or through email at any time. The company provides a full 1-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and offers ongoing assistance throughout the product’s lifespan.

Works as I expected!
I bought this lock to replace the old keypad lock of the side door of my garage. Easy to install, and works as I expected. Programing the lock wasnt that bad, the instruction manual could be better. So far it works fine.

Great product! And best of all…Great Price!
I’m typically lazy and don’t write much reviews but I am so impressed with this product that it would be unjust not to do so. For $50 this is a great purchase for the home. I love coming home and just need to use my finger to access my home. If I happen to forget to unlock my door, it will do so. The cherry on top is the five keys the company provide with the products. This is very well thought put. You don’t have to go and make copies for all your family members. Simply convinced all around and worth every pennies.

Great lock set
Easy install. I love the many options for entry. Key, fingerprints or codes. Even make temporary ones for a housesitter or guest to use. Instructions are a bit tricky but not overly confusing. Looks nice too!

Helps if two people help
Better than I thought at first,so I changed my original review, changing my review again, plastic parts are inside of door, and there is a metal security plate on the inside that the out door metal panel secures to and then the plastic controlor screws to,a plus you don’t have to take apart to change batteries, there is a plate that unsnaps to access batteries, will need a magnifying glass for instructions,I suggest having someone help installing,it’s a lot easier.so far it is awesome

Similar to other locks in its class, not ansi certified.
In the interest of full disclosure, as a trusted and unbiased Amazon reviewer, I was able to request this product free of charge. All of the electronic door locks in this price range are very similar. You should understand that none of these locks are very high security. What distinguishes these locks from one another are the features, some have fingerprint readers, guest codes, etc. Some have something like a keycard to unlock, as well as a traditional key, and a combination. There is an ANSI rating for locks 3 is the lowest and 1 is the highest. I acquired four of these types of locks, all by different manufacturers. Only one of these locks met the lowest ANSI standard which is 3.You can buy a boring regular keyed lock for about $30-$35 dollars which supports the highest ANSI standard of 1.I view these locks as some extra security. Good if you are doing some stuff around the house and you want to keep the doors locked but don’t want to have to go fumble with keys every time you need to go in to get another tool or whatever. If you are having a party you can set up a guest code and give everyone that code so you don’t have to keep answering the door, and you can delete the code later. These locks are good for these purposes. Personally, I would not feel comfortable with having one of these as my only door lock. As an adjunct to an existing lock, it’s a good idea and offers the versatility as previously described. As to the specifics for this lock:The package included batteries. The deadbolt appears to be about the same as an ordinary deadbolt and the strike plate seems about the same as an ordinary deadbolt lock – so both of these parts seem of good quality. The fingers surrounding the cylinder (these fit inside the door) are a bit weak. The plate that surrounds the interior unit seems fairly stout. This penetrates approximately 3/16 into the door-lock hole. The lock has a fingerprint reader and can store 50 fingerprints, and up to 98 user codes. There is also an auto-lock feature. The lock is easy to install and program and all the functions seem to work.In summary as an adjunct to your existing conventional deadbolt lock, great idea. As your only lock, I don’t recommend. If you are looking for an electronic deadbolt that meets the ANSI grade 1 standard, you can find one on Amazon. The cost is about $200 and there are often sales or coupons. I don’t think Amazon permits direct comparisons in reviews so I can’t go into more specifics than that. Before buying any look that you are using to replace an existing lock, make sure that the sizes are the same. Bore diameters have changed a bit over the years, some locks will only work with certain door thicknesses and certain offsets. You need to be aware of these before ordering to make sure your replacement is compatible.
