Excellent all-in-one device
This all-in-one deadbolt/doorbell/camera works great. It’s amazing that so many functions can be packed into one device, and at a reasonable price. Certainly, some sacrifices had to be made, but I’m happy that the core deadbolt function works flawlessly. The connection via wifi works great, and it’s very handy to be able to open the lock remotely. Plus, the app lets you create one time use passwords. But, the fingerprint sensor only catches about 75%, so that can be frustrating. The built-in camera has a fairly good picture, and does ok with picking up motion. It is easy for people to miss the doorbell button on top of the device, though. Lastly, I really like that this device uses the Smart Life app. It’s a lot easier than having to sign up and install yet another app. It seemed to find the device quickly, too.

6 different ways to secure your door!
This video Smart Lock was purchased for a vacation home. It has six different ways of using it. It’s also a doorbell. It has a battery that’s rechargeable which makes this ideal for long-term use and saving money not buying batteries. There is also a camera built into the lock so you can use this as a security device. The app with this product allows you to converse with somebody through the camera as well as setting up passcodes for guests. The lock works with Alexa or Google Voice Assistant. The lock can be opened with an IC card, a fingerprint, the app remote control, a passcode or one of the keys that were included with the lock. The fingerprint reader is a bit tricky to use as it does not always recognize. I think this is because the reader is quite small. My favorite thing about this lock is the many options it has to allow people to use the lock. Some of the other ones only allow a code key and maybe a fingerprint. This one has six different options.

All the features i want
Bought this lock as it was affordable and had all the features i wanted.. video to see who is there and no keys. It was easy to install however set up was a littlw tricky. It takes me a few trys to grt into the settings to add people or change things. I have set it to not auto lock but it keeps going back to that setting. That is really the only complaint. Im hopeing it has a great battery as i dont think the lock works if the battery is removed.

Protect your house!
Just to take precaution, I upgraded my old deadbolt to this, and it has been super useful. I can see whoâs home even when I am not home. If they want to say something, I can also communicate with them. The voice is pretty clear, and you can easily hear what visitors are saying. No more having to fumble and find my keys whenever I get home. I can just scan my finger like you would typically do with an iPhone. The app notifications are fast, and you can even lock/unlock your door from your phone. Installation took about 30 minutes because it was my first time doing a doorbell camera. I just followed the provided instructions.

I called their help line after installation because the lock wouldnât turn but it said it locked. I waited for three days for their 24 hour call back service to get back to me. They never called. I returned it and ordered another lock from a different company and it works like a charm

This works so good. I didn’t expect the camera to be so clear on it but it was, and the finger print works great. The set up was so easy, it took about 30 minutes to set it up. It lets you know every time the door is locked and unlocked, and lets you talk through it just like the ring camera. It’s pretty cool! Great investment.
