The tri-ply construction ensures that heat spreads evenly across the base and walls of each pan, reducing the risk of overcooked edges or scorching. The included stock pot is particularly useful for boiling, steaming, or preparing one-pot meals, while the saucepans are perfect for delicate reductions or reheating. The pot holder enhances safety when removing items from the stove or oven. Thanks to its broad stovetop compatibility, this set adapts seamlessly to various kitchen setups, including modern induction ranges. The tight-fitting lids help preserve flavors and nutrients, making this set especially valuable for health-conscious meal prep.
Important Notes
The cookware is designed for standard home use and not intended for commercial or industrial kitchens. While oven-safe up to 500°F, sudden temperature changes may affect longevity; gradual warming and cooling are recommended. Although dishwasher-safe, hand washing with mild detergent helps maintain appearance and prolong life. The set does not include glass lids or measuring marks, though some models may offer optional replacements. Always ensure proper ventilation when using high-heat cooking methods. This product is sold under the Duxtop brand, backed by comprehensive warranties from SECURA, a North American manufacturer committed to customer satisfaction. Hook ’em and cook ’em. Bang them pots and pans.
This pan set replaced a Cephelon non-stick pan set. My wife and I were getting a bit aprehensive about the flaking of the coating and I decided to get this stainless set. I really wanted copper bottoms, but for what I was willing to spend, it seemed like anything with copper was just a coating, not actual copper. Once I settled on this set, I ordered and waited a bit longer than the Two Day Prime shipping. Once I actually received the pans. I was pleased with the fit and finish. They are sturdy and feel good in the hand. I am a very hands on cook who likes to flip and swirl as opposed to just stirring. The handles stay cool and the pans are weighted nicely so they don’t tip to the handle while on the stove. The pans heat quickly and stay hot, which is good when you pick them up to toss the veggies around a bit. I read a tip in another review about letting the pans heat before cooking to close off the pores on the cooking surface to avoid sticking. So far so good on that front. The pans do discolor a bit with cooking, but as long as they don’t mess with the flavor I could care less. If I had wanted display pots, I would have bought copper and a hanging rack. I am also sure a little Bartenders Helper or whatever that cleaner is, will shine things right back up if I ever care to use it.3 year update: These pans are still going strong. There are some scratches at the bottom of the pan from using metal implements to stir food, but there is no staining, burned in residues, or any other discoloration. The handles are still firmly attached and the pan lid handles are the same way. This is one of the best pan purchases, besides my cast iron skillet, that I have made.7 year update: These pots and pans have been through the ringer and are still holding up beautifully. They are just as sturdy as the first day I got them and the finish is still shiny. All the handles are firm and the lids are as solid as ever. My wife has burned I don’t know how many eggs into the smaller frying pan and they come out easily with a little soak. I will probably end up using these pans forever as I am a firm believer in if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it methodology.

What A Deal!!!
Update 2-27-18I like this cookware so much that I’ve purchased the 3 quart chicken fryer which includes a lid. Makes perfect chicken in wine because I can finish cooking in the oven. Also remember that stainless lids are more sanitary than glass because food can’t get trapped inside.Update 11-03-16:I’ve now owned and happily used this cookware for over 2 years. I can honestly say that it cooks as well as my single All Clad saute pan (which I received as a gift). Considering that I can buy a full set of the Duxtop cookware for LESS than the price of one All Clad pan, the purchase becomes a no-brainer. This is a fantastic product at a bargain price! If you’re looking for a starter set of tri-ply cookware, look no further. This is a high quality set at an incredible price. Don’t hesitate, cuz Amazon might come around and start selling this set for a profit. The pieces are heavier than one would expect and have VERY solid handles that stay reasonably cool. Sticking should not be a major problem as long as you remember to ALWAYS preheat your pans before adding your lipid. Also, tri-ply construction means that you are able to cook at a lower temperature setting than you may be used to with your previous cookware. Once you adapt to the “Stainless Learning Curve”, you’ll never want another type of cookware. BTW: Tri-ply works great regardless of your type of heating element.

High quality pans!
Great set. High quality. I love these pans. I’ll never go back to the TOXIC nonstick pans.

Not as good as earlier Duxtop but still pretty good
I wanted and expected so much for this to be a 5-star review. I bought my first Duxtop pan 3 years ago to use for making tea. I wanted something inexpensive that I could scour, as needed, with Barkeeper’s Friend and this fit the bill. I was very surprised with the quality of that first pan and it has become my go-to stove-top 3qt pot and I use it for far more than tea.I have a 30 year-old copper-bottom stainless set that I love and I bought a Cuisinart French Classic set here on Amazon that I like a lot. The problem with the Cuisinart is that the pots all have straight sides and tops, no curve for pouring so they always drip. Not a huge problem but it adds cleaning time. So when I wanted another tri-ply set for my new induction stove, I immediately looked at the Duxtop. The price on the Duxtop set was about 35% lower than I’ve seen Duxtop sets up to now so, based on my experience with that first pot, I ordered two of the 9-piece sets – it was that great of a price. Then came the gotcha. These pans are “ok” pans but not nearly the quality of the older pan. The handles have been modified, thinner, lighter, more pointed (pokey when gripping) etc. Though these are sold to US consumers, they’re laser etched with liters inside rather than quarts, etc. Just in general, I don’t love them the way I love that original Duxtop. If you need an inexpensive stainless, tri-ply, pan set for induction tops, this will definitely fill the bill but the overall design and quality has gone down so that is disappointing.

Update: July 2018, I can say these are still holding up after two years. I certainly am glad that I decided to buy these. I have not tried them in the oven yet as I have my cast iron for that. I have used all the pots and pans now and can say they clean up easily, even after cooking sausages in the frying pan. If you are thinking of getting yourself a first set of pots and pans, give these a try.Even though I have not used all the pans yet, the two pots I have used have excellent weight. I followed the instructions on using lower heat for them and they seem to be quicker at coming up to the boil point then the other pots I use. The only thing I noticed I don’t like is that the inside has discoloured after using first time for boiling water for potatoes etc, but this has not affected the use of them. I hand wash them only, to keep the outside looking great! Great price too!
