A replacement for a failed in cabinet unit
This has worked very well as a replacement for our failed in cabinet unit. It was a little larger, primarily in depth, than our previous unit, but that was easily addressed by widening the hole in the back of the cabinet. We got it on sale, so the price wasnât bad compared to other comparable units. It took a few minutes to realize that the child safety switch could be turned off permanently, so that it could more easily be turned on. My wife loves it because of its larger capacity and faster cooking time than our previous unit. The satin finish goes well with our other appliances.

ok product at reasonable price
This is the 2nd time I have purchased this microwave as my first one went out after using for about 5 years. The microwave is large enough to fit larger dish sizes and powerful enough to cook or warm food items quickly. I am only rating this a 4 because when first using this product, the door drug slightly when closing as well as turntable appeared to not rotate consistently. Both of these issues has cleared up with use but the quality control appears to be less than expectations. So far after a couple of months, the unit is working satisfactorily.

This microwave oven has a lot of great features.
It has been a long time since I have purchased a new microwave oven. I was pleasantly surprised with the latest technology features that come with the GE 1200 watt microwave oven. One I especially like is the reheat feature . It automatically cooks food based on its own weight. This takes the guesswork out of setting the time manually. Very convenient. Among other features,it also has traditional time cook setting and a 30 seconds add on time . Although it is on the loud side, I love cooking with this microwave oven. Very happy with my purchase.
