After 3 1/2 years, I like everything about this air fryer
This was my first air fryer in Sept 2021, and I started using it more and more, until now it’s what I mainly use to cook chicken, salmon, panko shrimp, etc. It is a bit big and bulky, but otherwise I like the basket design with a handle that brings all the cooked items out easily. I like having the ability to pause the cooking and change the temp & time, then continue the cooking process. I’ve never used the pre-sets, so can’t comment on them. I looked up cooking times and temps on the internet and wrote them down on a piece of paper which I refer to every time. The included recipe book gave me two recipes that I use often. The only problem now, after nearly four years of regular use, is that the cooking basket has lost much of its non-stick surface and I’m thinking of buying a new one.

This is an amazing product and has helped the wife make dinner and helped me feed our kids when she’s not home. The best things to make are Trader Joe’s hash browns. They taste just like McDonald’s. We’ve had this for close to two months and it hasn’t crapped out and the basket has not rusted. We typically line the basket with foil and use a third party rack we bought on Amazon to fry stuff. Cleanup is easy and food is made faster and crispier than before. Excellent for those Pizza hut leftovers or chicken nuggets, too. Thanks GoWise. Definitely used more than our Instant Pot, which I consider more of a faddish buy. We never crocked pot much before but we definitely used our toaster oven, which now resides in the garage.

New Air Fryer User
I received my Air Fryer and was anxious to try it. I cooked chicken wings and then basted it with an Asian Bar-be-que sauce. Followed cooking direction and wasn’t thrilled with the level of crispness resulting I made a parchment paper insert and used this so as to follow the directions. . You’re required to open the unit mid-cooking and shake up food. Directions state doing this 2 times, which I did. So every 10 minutes, you need to stop unit and open and shake basket, therefore you cannot walk away for long. I will rewrite my review if i’m able to improve the result–hope I can!I have used fryer for fries, ribeye steak and they came out great. Would recommend getting cookbook from bluejeanschefâ¦.great basic info to get started. I can see me using this appliance often once I get hang of it. have purchased a cook book for fryer and also inserts I will write another review once I try the unit with fries! It is very large to store, but thought the larger the better.

We have had this a year now. I can’t say enough about how much we use and enjoy it. No messy oil to clean up. Food tastes great…Fast meals. Love it. Great for chicken wings and fish. So glad we got it. Takes a little time to adjust to how recipes work in it, but once you find what works for you, it is so much easier to “fry” things. Easy to clean. Just soak the pan within the basket with soapy water for a few minutes. We haven’t used the accessories much yet. Have just got the grill pan to make it easier to remove fish fillets and stuff. Highly recommend the fryer. Reasonably priced. Bought same air fryer as a gift for son this year.

Wow! One of the best buys that I have ever made! I have used the GoWISE USA GW22735 5.8-Quart 8-in-1 Air Fryer XL, QT, White almost every night since I purchased it.I have made buffalo wings, baked fish, grilled pork chops, grilled steaks, roasted chicken, fried chicken, french fries, I can just keep going on an on. I can honestly say, it is like tasting food for the first time. Everything is cooked to perfection. I work 10 hour days and do not want to come home and slave over a stove. Took me a long time to jump on the bandwagon, but I love it!!! Lots of recipes on internet, super easy to clean, so easy to use!!! Iâve had this for about a year and it works beautifully. So easy to use and clean. The food tastes great. I live alone so this is perfect. I can cook fish, meat, and vegetables in one spot. I donât use my oven very much anymore. Itâs also perfect for reheating foods without the microwave to get crispness

The basket is a decent size. If you do a lot of things like frozen fish sticks, fries, chicken wings, etc. you would probably use this a lot. A use it for frozen gluten-free chicken wings I buy, and I have also tried it for cooking turkey thighs (they turned out great! but not any faster, keep that in mind), and I recently did boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I could fit 4 whole breasts in this size basket, and they turned out really great. Just don’t overcook your food!

GOWISE USA Air Fryer given as gift worked for 1 year before it died. I thought it was due to the way I was air frying @ 400 F. Not knowing any better ordered another one @ $103. It arrived and would NOT turn on. I contacted Customer Service @ GOWISE USA by email – the GOWISE USA phone number has been disconnected ( Hmm, I wonder why?) and if you try that number you end up in some company trying to sell you a medical security alert bracelet for seniors. So email it was. They put me through hoops, requiring a picture, original invoice, item number. I finally got an email reply from GOWISE USA saying that the E1 code displayed permanently meant a manufacturer defect and to to get a refund from Amazon. Contacted Amazon who advised it was non returnable and gave us a credit instead. Fair enough! Two (2) GoWise USA Air Fryers to the dump! BE WISE! – DO NOT buy GOWISE USA. Purchase a T-Fal, Ninja or something that works. We are now happy with our 6.7 litre T-Fal that is both an Air Fryer and Grill. Only $40 more, larger capacity, good looking and super quiet!

I bought this last January 2022 and it was pretty good. However one of the screws ended up in our dinner and one disappeared. I called customer service a few times and someone said they would look into it and i never received a response. We are still missing a screw and bolt so not happy with the customer service! Still waiting feedback and replacement!

The basket is meant to be shamed to mix fries and what not but the screw came loose fell out and now the handle is barely hanging on. Now I have to find some sort of screw that would fit. Other than that I like the air fryer.
