Benefits & Use Cases
Designed for home cooks who demand both performance and practicality, the HexClad Hybrid Fry Pan Set excels in everyday cooking scenarios. The aluminum core ensures rapid and even heat distribution, eliminating hot spots that can ruin delicate foods like scrambled eggs or sauces. This consistency makes it perfect for searing proteins at high heat, browning onions without burning, or gently simmering soups and stews.
The hexagonal nonstick surface is not just about easy food release—it’s engineered to resist wear, scratching, and degradation over time, so your pans maintain their effectiveness season after season. Unlike traditional nonstick coatings, this advanced surface stands up to metal utensils and frequent use without flaking or peeling, preserving both flavor and safety.
The inclusion of three sizes offers unmatched versatility. The 8-inch pan is ideal for cooking eggs or portioned meals, the 10-inch model suits medium-sized dishes like stir-fries or grilled meats, and the 12-inch pan handles large batches of pasta, fried rice, or family-style dinners. Each comes with a tempered glass lid that locks in moisture, allows you to monitor food without lifting, and fits securely to retain heat efficiently.
Many users appreciate how these pans transition smoothly from stovetop to oven—a feature that simplifies recipes requiring initial frying followed by oven finishing. Whether you’re preparing a skillet cake, baking cornbread, or roasting chicken thighs, the oven-safe construction gives you confidence in multi-stage cooking.
Cleanup is effortless thanks to the dishwasher-safe design, though handwashing with mild soap also preserves the nonstick finish longer. The sturdy build and reliable performance make this set a smart upgrade for anyone looking to replace older, less durable cookware.
Important Notes
HexClad products sold through authorized retailers such as HexClad Cookware come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects, ensuring long-term peace of mind. However, please note that commercial and restaurant use is excluded from coverage. While many customers praise the pans for their durability, heat distribution, and ease of cleaning, some have shared mixed feedback regarding stickiness under extremely high heat, the overall weight of the pans, and perceived value relative to price point. These factors may vary based on individual cooking styles and expectations.
To maintain optimal performance and extend the life of your cookware, follow recommended care guidelines—avoid overheating empty pans, use appropriate utensils, and clean promptly after use. With proper care, this set can become a reliable staple in your kitchen for years to come.

So far so good
I just got these two weeks ago so bear that in mind. They came well packaged. Everything about opening the package spoke of quality. The pans are heavy and feel solid and well built. The coating was super slick and when I seasoned them, the oil would bead up rather than spread out, even when the pan was hot.Cooking in them has been great. They say that they cook hotter than other pans which I have seen to be true, and I don’t turn up the burners as high as I have been. The heat transfer is excellent and the pan heats evenly.Clean up is easy if you do it right away. I let one sit overnight and everything stuck, but once I put hot water on it everything released easily. The lids are nice and also well built. The pans are built so that they seem bigger on the bottom. So far they have been great. I re season them after every washing.I think they will last a long time with some proper care.I made an investment in some high quality cookware and so far I am not disappointed.

This was part of the 12-piece set I ordered
This was part of the 12 piece set I ordered that was shipped in 2 boxes. I have looked at this cookware before and have seen a few advertisements on it. In the past, I hesitated trying it since, in most of the pictures and videos, it looks like it has a bumpy or rough interior. When I saw the 7-quart hybrid sauce pan, I decided I had to try it to replace a 7-quart Staub Dutch oven that I have. I was so impressed by this sauce pan, I decided to buy the 12-piece set of this cookware. This set was shipped in two boxes. One box include the 6-piece pot set with lids ( 2 and 3 quart pots and 8 quart stock pot), and the other box included the 6-piece frying pan set with lids (8, 10, and 12 inch frying pans with lids).I cook quite a lot and have quit a lot of cookware of various types and brands, including Staub, Le Creuset, cast iron, , Tramontina, carbon steel, Calphalon stainless steel, and Ninja Premium cookware. In most of these, I have complete, or almost complete, sets of every piece available in each type of cookware. Each of these has their pros and cons, and all are very non-stick aside from cast iron and carbon steel that must be well seasoned.Since this review is for the HexClad cookware, I will not get into the pros and cons of each type of cookware, but will compare the HexClad cookware to some of them and let you know why I prefer this cookware over some of the others. It should be noted that it is suggested to wash and season the cookware with vegetable oil before using. I used Crisco shortening which I also use on my cast iron pans. When I seasoned the pans, the oil was completely absorbed. After the initial seasoning, these pans should not need to be seasoned again even when cleaned with soap and water. Cast iron and carbon steel pans should be seasoned after every use.So, what do I like about this cookware as compared to the other cookware I have?1 – Cast iron, and enameled cast iron is very heavy and must be seasoned after every use to maintain it. This cookware does not required seasoning after it is done initially. Carbon steel is not as heavy, but must also be seasoned after every use.2 – Stainless steel cookware needs to be cleaned very time with Bar Keeper’s Friend to keep it clean and shiny. The HexClad cookware does have stainless steel on the exterior, but is easier to keep looking shiny since cooking is not done on it. Wash and dry works.3 – Most of the cookware mentioned above can be relatively nonstick when used and seasoned properly and after learning how to use it. Stainless cookware can be more challenging since temperature and what you cook can be issues. Cast iron, carbon steel, and even enameled cookware depends on persistent seasoning after every use aside from the Ninja Premium cookware that maintains a nonstick, easy to clean surface as does the HexClad cookware. Other than Tramontina cookware, the nonstick surfaces of most are durable.4 – As for weight, the cast iron and enameled cast iron (Staub and Le Creuset) are the heaviest, carbon steel comes in second, and HexClad and Ninja are about the same.5- The warranty for HexClad is lifetime vs. the Ninja warranty that is 5-10 year depending on whether you register cookware on the Ninja website. For the HexClad cookware, you must save your purchase receipt. This is all of the differences I can think of for now. If I think of more, I will add them. For now, I am impressed with the HexClad cookware, but I will not likely eliminate much of the cookware I already have. As mentioned previously, each has their own benefits. I may eventually decide to eliminate some of the heavier cookware as it is more difficult to use. I may also eliminate cookware that requires more maintenance.I will update this review if my opinion changes. I hope this review was helpful for you.

Excellent set of fry pans.
Heats evenly nonstick, easy to clean. The only thing I didn’t like was the handles on the lids. They are to big and doesn’t allow for stacking of the lids with the pans. They have to be stored separately. Expensive but well worth the cost.

Great product!
I purchased these to replace some old non stick cookware I no longer wanted to cook with. I wasn’t sure I believed the HexClad hype but I really love these pans and I have just purchased the 7 quart based on my experience with these. I like the shape, weight, surface, all very user friendly. Cooks super evenly, no need for high heat, food turns out great, easy clean up, delighted with them. I will say the 8 inch is pretty tiny, not sure if I would bother with that one again but it was included in a set so… anyway, as all cooks know, half the battle of cooking is the cooking experience as well as the success of the end result of the dish, as far as these pans go they are really helpful at both. Recommend!

The best Quality!
These are so beautiful looking, but better than that the quality is amazing and heavy duty. They are heavy, but I think thatâs part of the quality! Just cooked eggs and they didnât stick at all! Def worth every penny. If youâve been eyeing these, Iâd highly recommend especially after coming from cheaper pans. The difference in quality and ease is unreal.

I debated on this purchase for a long time, but my old cookware needed to be replaced.
The best cookware I’ve ever owned. Super easy to clean and built very durable. I didn’t want to pay this kind of money for cookware so I put it off for a good while, but I got sick and tire of soaking and scraping my old set. I’ve found this to be worth the money if you can afford it.

Great product and a on time delivery
First I love these cooking pans durable and heat very well and there is no sticking with them and are built to cook with for a long time. Come with a lifetime warranty. Also I bought them as gift for my Dad. I was worried they would not get here on time to give to him for Christmas but they showed up on time.

Absolutely fabulous line of pots and pans! Follow instructions for seasoning BEFORE first use. Drizzle a little oil and spread with brush or paper towel while on low heat for the first weeks of use and these pans will last for many many years! Sizes are great, clean so easily. Worth the money!

Excellent product what a treat to have a product that is, what was advertised.Clean up easy with soap and water, no stick even cooking eggs they just slide right of. Season the pans before use and your food will never stick.Keep temperature down about 2 notches that you were used too, if you have used some other brands of no stick pans.If using on glass top do not rotate or pull the pans across the glass lift up and rotate and reset to avoid scratches.Wok and pans can double as pots we have 2 sets, and they are awesome!
