Key Features
- Tri-ply clad construction: Engineered with an aluminum core fully bonded between two layers of stainless steel, this design delivers exceptional heat conductivity and uniform distribution. This ensures that every part of your dish cooks evenly—eliminating hot spots and promoting consistent results when preparing large volumes of food.
- Spacious 9.5-quart capacity: Perfectly sized to serve 8–10 people, this tope is ideal for family feasts, holiday meals, or meal prep on a larger scale. No more juggling multiple pots—this single vessel handles big recipes with ease.
- Universal cooktop compatibility: Seamlessly works across all standard stove types, including gas, electric, ceramic, and induction. This makes it a versatile choice whether you’re upgrading your kitchen setup or using existing appliances.
- Oven-safe up to 500°F: Transition effortlessly from stovetop to oven for baking, roasting, or finishing dishes like baked rice or casseroles. The durable lid also fits securely during oven use, preserving moisture and flavor.
- Premium finish details: The mirror-polished exterior adds a sleek, elegant touch that enhances any kitchen decor, while the satin-finish interior resists stains, discoloration, and pitting over time—keeping the pot looking clean and professional after every wash.
- Inlaid volume markings: Clear quart and liter measurements are permanently marked inside the pot, allowing for precise ingredient additions and portion control without needing extra tools or guesswork.
- NSF certified: Meets rigorous North American safety and performance standards for commercial kitchen equipment, offering confidence in hygiene, durability, and everyday usability.

Benefits & Use Cases
This tope shines brightest when tackling the heart of Indian and South Asian cuisine—dishes that rely on slow simmering, layered spices, and generous portions. From fragrant biryanis that require gentle steaming over liquid, to robust curries and lentil-based dal cooked low and slow, the even heat distribution prevents scorching and ensures every ingredient reaches optimal tenderness. The wide base and tall sides allow for ample space to stir gently without splatter, making it easier to manage large batches.
The oven-safe capability opens up new culinary possibilities. After searing aromatics or browning meats on the stovetop, simply transfer the entire tope to the oven to finish cooking—perfect for baked rice dishes, one-pot meals, or desserts that benefit from indirect heat. This feature also means fewer dirty pans and less cleanup.
For families or social hosts, the 9.5-quart size reduces the need for multiple pots, saving storage space and streamlining meal prep. Its NSF certification reassures home cooks that the materials meet food safety standards, even under frequent or heavy use. And with lifetime support, you’re not just buying cookware—you’re investing in a tool that grows with your cooking journey.
Important Notes
- The package includes only one 9.5-quart tope and one matching lid; no additional accessories such as trivets, ladles, or measuring cups are provided.
- To maintain the integrity of the tri-ply layers and finishes, hand washing with mild soap and a soft sponge is recommended. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleansers that could damage the surface over time.
- Although oven-safe up to 500°F, sudden temperature changes (such as placing a cold pot directly into a hot oven) may cause thermal shock and compromise the bonding between layers. Allow gradual warming or cooling when transitioning between appliances.
- While compatible with induction cooktops, ensure your induction burner supports pots with flat bases at least as large as the bottom of this tope for optimal heating efficiency.

True tri ply
Would love to keep this pan but unfortunately it doesn’t wash well. With just 2 uses and even bar keepers friend doesn’t help.

Excellent cooking pot
Tramontinaâs Utsava 9.5-Quart Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Tope (Patila Pot) is an excellent cooking pot.We recently replaced our range with an induction cooktop, and several of our pots and pans were incompatible (not magnetic) with induction. This Tramontina pot was one of the replacements, and weâre very happy with it. Itâs highly responsive to heat changes on the induction cooktop, coming to a boil super fast. The pot feels heavy-duty, like two of the old pots we had to give up, and I expect it will be a pot that is passed down through the family. There are a couple of downsides:⢠The price point is a little too high, in my opinion.⢠While the flat lid is characteristic of patila pots, it is inconvenient to not have a handle of some kind to lift the lid.Overall, I highly recommend this pot.

Very high quality
This is a very well made pot. It’s fairly heavy, so it heats evenly. The lid fits well, and the handles are very functional–but small, which helps with storage. It’s our go-to pot now, we use it on both our induction range and our gas burners. I suspect this pot will serve us for many years, if not decades.
