Its fingerprint-based entry eliminates the risk of lost or copied keys, offering a highly personalized and secure access method. The remote management capabilities make it especially useful for frequent travelers, pet sitters, or families who regularly host visitors—you can grant temporary access even when you’re not at home. Auto-Lock and DoorSense provide added reassurance for those who occasionally forget to secure their doors, making it perfect for busy households or rental properties where oversight may vary. For renters or new homeowners, the tool-free installation means quick setup without damaging walls or door frames. The satin nickel finish blends seamlessly with modern architectural styles, combining functional innovation with refined design.
Whether you’re looking to upgrade from a traditional deadbolt or enhance an existing smart home ecosystem, the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch delivers reliable performance with minimal maintenance. The rechargeable battery ensures continuous operation, and low-battery alerts are sent directly through the Yale Access App, so you’ll never be caught off guard. In the event of power failure or system malfunction, a backup physical key is included for emergency access. Installation is designed to be user-friendly, replacing your current deadbolt without requiring modifications to your door or frame. Simply remove the old lock and mount the new one in place—no drilling, no mess.
Important Notes
This lock replaces your existing deadbolt on most standard US entry doors and does not require a professional locksmith for installation. A screwdriver is sufficient for mounting. Ensure your Wi-Fi network operates exclusively on the 2.4 GHz band, as the lock does not support 5 GHz frequencies. Initial fingerprint registration must be completed via the Yale Access App during setup. Batteries must be recharged periodically; low-battery warnings are delivered through the app to prevent unexpected lockouts. The package includes the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch, screws, user manual, rechargeable battery, and one backup physical key. Always verify door compatibility before purchase—specifically confirm your door’s backset measurement and thickness to ensure proper fit.

Love the lock but a bit expensive
My family has 4 of these now at 4 different properties and they work great. It was important to us to have a single app to rule them all (LOTR reference:) .Installation was easy and straightforward for physical as well as programming. After 6 months, there has been no issues with battery like and expect to replace at least once a year but I suppose that would depend on how often the lock is used. The fingerprint ability is awesome and simply âjust worksâIt was nice while out of town and having friends check on the house to be able to check the door lock and remotely lock if our helpers forgot.I highly recommend and maybe the price is just right. You get a good product when you pay more?Cheers

Great Lock
I wanted a lock that had key access, fingerprint, and keypad access, along with app capabilities. These locks checked all those boxes. They are built well, install was easy, and functionality is great. They look great, and are great quality.

Yale Smart Lock – Sleek Upgrade with Solid Features
Initial Skepticism Gone:Setup was surprisingly painless – took about 10 minutes solo. The black finish looks modern and clean, definitely an aesthetic upgrade from older models. The Good:Auto-lock feature is clutch – no more “did I lock the door?” momentsFingerprint reader is surprisingly reliable – none of that “try five times” frustrationClean, modern design that doesn’t scream “tech gadget”Quick Bluetooth setup through the appWorth Noting:Bluetooth-only means you need to be nearby for initial setup and programmingApp required for setup and code managementFor anyone on the fence about upgrading their older Yale lock – this is a solid step up. The fingerprint reader alone makes it worth it – no more fumbling with codes in the dark.

Great smart lock with fingerprint and actual buttons!
Was looking for a smart lock that has finger print AND real buttons and this fit the bill perfectly, I didn’t get the wifi version as I was hoping they would release the matter module soon, which is another great future as it allows upgrades as smart home systems improve. One thing to be aware of, which did not impact my review as amazon immediately replaced it, was that my first order was obviously used, so just ensure that all the parts are still sealed before installing.

Si podrÃa le darÃa 0 estrellas. La configuración no sirve vÃa la aplicación y si marcas al servicio atención a clientes nunca hay nadie. Prácticamente se vuelve una cerradura común y corriente al precio de una cerradura digital.
