I honest wish I bought this for my house instead of a project. It’s VERY sturdy, there’s no wobble at all, and for the price I paid.. I would accepted much less quality. The packaging is kind of irritating, packed so tight you have to tear the box or pour the entire box out onto the ground, I suspect the packaging is the cause of scratches in the paint that many other reviewers have mentioned.I also had some minor scratches on the bed frame, so if I want to avoid rust long term I’ll have to re-seal the metal. Building the bed was remarkably easy. It’s not intuitive and the instructions are not the best I’ve seen, but the entire bed can be build in less than 5 minutes as long as you have a lot of space to do it.The dimensions I’ve seen are very accurate, and I have no complaints on the build quality of presentation of the item.

Sturdy and easy to put together
I purchased this for a guest room at my elderly parents house to replace a much heavier frame. It’s sturdy, yet light enough to be moved around a bit if needed. It has a clean design that blends in with most decor and plenty of storage room underneath if needed.This is my 3rd Zinus bedframe I’ve purchased, and they have all been very sturdy and easy to put together. Great for small spaces or temporary arrangements.

Very solid product for such a low price
I decided to just throw out an old broken down bed frame when I recently changed apartments, and I’d just had my mattress temporarily on the floor for what ended up being eight months until I saw a daily deal for this bed frame and jumped on it. I only paid $60 on sale for it, which was a crazy deal for the quality of the product.It’s a bit of PITA to put together just because there are so many parts to screw together (24 screws to insert if I remember right), but they include useful tools to make it easier, and everything is labeled extremely clearly. It was about 45 minutes of busy work to get everything together, but it should be impossible to mess up since every single connection has a numerical sticker on it showing you what it should be attached to, and every part where it matters has a sticker telling you which side is up and which is down. Somehow I see reviews on this page showing that there are actually people out there dumb enough to mess it up even with such crystal clear instructions, but if you are able to follow the most explicit instructions a furniture assembly could possibly provide, you are not going to have a problem with everything not fitting together properly.After assembling, the frame is very solid. There is sticky tape attached to the slats, so your mattress doesn’t shift around. Not sure how long that will last, but it would be easy to apply new two-sided tape if ever needed. I was concerned it might have rough metal legs that would risk damaging hardwood floors, but that doesn’t look like it will be a problem since they have plastic covers on the bottoms, and there was no scuffing when I finished assembling the frame and slid it into place across my bedroom floor. It’s a good height to allow some optional storage room underneath, and it fits my queen sized mattress pretty much exactly.

Product is good, packaging leaves something to be desired
The quality of this bed frame is good. The instructions to assemble were clear, and they even provided a ratcheting Allen wrench! We’ve sleep on it the past couple of nights and there has been zero creaking or wobble or anything – it’s rock solid.However, the box had one end bashed in as is typical for big boxes filled with heavy metal parts. I didn’t think much of it, thinking that some Styrofoam or cardboard padding probably prevented any damage to the product. Wrong! As you can see in the pictures, a couple of the pieces have decent sized dents and scratches. There’s practically no padding between the box and product. I also noticed that a pre-installed foam strip was folded on itself instead of being stuck to the metal bar… Which would have happened at the packaging plant, not during shipping. Despite these irritations, I decided the faults were only cosmetic and everything was still square. I’m not sure if this is a testament to the durability of the product or the lack of QC and packaging. You decide. But for me, I still give it 5 stars – it works as intended, the scratches are covered with a bed skirt and are likely to be joined by more in the future, and I like the ratcheting Allen wrench.

Sturdy and not too hard to assemble.
I bought this to replace a really tall mattress and box spring in my guest bedroom. I wanted a platform bed frame but keep my nice pillow-top mattress.It arrived undamaged (good packing materials). There were some scratches on the black paint, but nothing that was terrible. The directions were in picture form only, which did cause some confusion. I only had to disassemble 1 end piece before I figured out the sequence! I put it together without tightening to make sure I was on the right track. My husband arrived to help tighten the numerous bolts and washers. It may have taken 2 hour 3 hours to assemble, but we weren’t in a hurry.Really nice and affordable platform bed frame. Exceeded my expectations!
