Budget Friendly and Very Sturdy
The instructions were a tad vague in some areas however I was able to figure it out. Probably took me about an hour to assemble by myself using the included tools. Be sure to look under the bottom set of bolts for the wrench.I also felt as though the package was missing a slender bolt for the middle bar that goes across the bed so I ended up using one of the smaller ones that had no use for setup and put it in underneath the hole instead of above. The only thing I don’t like is that the legs of the frame are not inset so you need to watch your toes when walking near the frame. The frame is really sturdy. As a grown woman, I jumped on the bed quite a bit too test it out and it holds up very well. I like that I can store things underneath and the height is decent. Overall, I’m quite happy with this purchase. I scoured the site looking for something simple, budget friendly and sturdy. This fits the bill.

Easy to put together, breaks very easily
Update to my review:Virtually every day, sometimes multiple times a day, the slats would fall off the bed. It lasted until today, where I tried to move the frame a bit so i could turn the heat on. The center bar unscrewed and I couldnât get it to go back. I guess I canât be upset because itâs so cheap but i am very disappointed that it didnt even last a month. I am the opposite of handy. I previously bought another bedframe that touted itself as easy assembly and that turned out to be an absolute lie. I saw this one and at the price they were selling it for, why not try it. Now, I got the one with no headboard which doesnât seem to be available anymore but the frame mechanics seem the same. It is incredibly easy. Itâs easy and Iâm someone who finds it incredibly hard to do these things. All you do is unfold the pieces, screw them together by hand, and put the slats in. It does still seem to be firm. Iâve had issues with previous frames that used steel wire instead of steel slats. I am a heavier person so I know I need steel slats instead.Very happy with this purchase. It also came a while before it was estimated to come.

Pretty good
This is a pretty good piece of kit, especially considering the price.I was surprised at how small the box was. I was expecting a long, heavy affair, but the needs of cheap shipping rule our commerce now, so the bed length is broken in two with an extra leg in the middle to support the span. That also means they can use lighter rails, which saves money and shipping weight. The downside to that is that you have that middle leg to stub your toe against. The overall quality is good. Assembly was fast and easy, but a couple of pointers:there is a difference between the head and foot of the bed. The head has slots for screws to attach a headboard. The foot has a small decorative groove to give it a more polished look.If you have a metric socket set things will go much faster than with the small open-end wrench they supply. But if so remember not to apply too much torque, because you can overdo it with a socket wrench. That middle leg is splayed outward at the bottom by about 7 degrees. I don’t know if that is intentional for stability or not, but it does make it more “stubbable”. I believe the 1 x 1 middle rail should be 1 x 2 like the end rails, so that two bolts could be used to mount it, rather than relying on the splaying for greater strength and stability. As I said, quality is good. The pieces fit and the finish was fine. This is not like the old days when things were heavy and lasted generations, but so far I’ve had no problems with strength or stability.I questioned whether the 8″ spacing of the slats was adequate for my foam mattress, but I see no problems with it.I can recommend this product.

READ BEFORE PURCHASING!
I have zero regrets about this bed. Only wish it came in a 20″. I purchased the 14″ and some 5″ risers to get as close as my old bed.NOW to address the complaints in this review section. 1. If they received wood planks, they ordered the other frame, as this one has metal slates. 2. Everyone is complaining about the mattress “moving” and “sliding” are not very bright and should have notice that traditional bedframes have baffles to stop the sliding. If they had watched the video and looked at the photos, they would have seen this frame does NOT have them and that you need to purchase them. This same company sells them for 15$ (depending on which set you choose). “ZIYOO Non Slip Mattress Gaskets for Bed, Anti-Slip Baffle Fit for Metal Bed Frames, 6 PCS” come in two height sizes depending on your mattress. Folks complain about things TOO much and the fault is their own for not doing their due diligence. DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE WHEN ON WEBSITES! This frame thus far is great and I would purchase it again. 3. When putting together, lay out everything first. You will have one extra screw incase you loose one. Do NOT tighten them all up until the end to prevent “uneven” holes on the other end of the frame. Screw the two (onnthenside you are working on) at the same time ONLY finger-tight, going back and forth between screwing them. (Meaning, do not screw in one then the other). Lift it off of the floor as you screw them so they take the weight off the ends and go in without resisting. I am a woman and put this together in about 30 minutes with the tools provided and figured out all the issues for you all. If you do it the way I described, all the screws will fit in without any resistance and you can easily go back and tool tighten (hex key and small wrench provided) them making the frame sturdy. Do not over torque as it is still cheap (but good quality) metal and you do not want to strip it. Power tools are not recommended but if you are a Manco Man, go for it!
